With many years of experience NFI is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and a Full Member of the MFAA and focuses on flexible, specialist courses for both aspiring and experienced mortgage and finance professionals.  Courses are offered via face-to-face workshops, correspondence study and online e-learning and include:

·           FNS40804 Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking).

This is a nationally accredited course, recognised by the MFAA, FBAA, aggregators and lenders, and offered by NFI Australia-wide via 4.5-day face-to-face workshops or via correspondence or online e-learning.  The Cert IV will remain a pre-requisite for finance professionals once licensing is introduced nationwide. ·           FNS50504 Diploma of Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking Management)

This is a nationally accredited course offered Australia-wide via 2-day face-to-face workshops, or via correspondence or online e-learning. A pre-requisite is the FNS40804 Certificate IV qualification. The Diploma course provides advanced knowledge for senior finance/mortgage brokers offering services which may include commercial lending (suitable for those who currently hold their "Cert IV" looking for a higher qualification).  Click here for an enrolment form and pricing.

·           W.A. Supplement to FNS40804

The W.A. Supplement course is a short course which meets the education requirements of DOCEP W.A. to allow brokers with an existing Certificate IV to apply for a Restricted Finance Brokers License to operate in Western Australia.  W.A. licensing details may be seen on the DOCEP website.

·           Commercial Origination course

This is a fast-track course designed specifically for mortgage brokers looking to expand into commercial finance. This two-part course (theory + practical) provides the essential skills needed to commence writing commercial deals.  It is available via a 2-day workshop, or through distance learning (home study) or via our online e-learning platform, with optional tutor mentoring.  

·           RPL - Recognition of Prior Learning

RPL assessment is available for both the Cert IV qualification and the Diploma qualification.  Applicants can either email enquiries@financeinstitute.com.au to be sent a pdf outlining the procedure or Click Here to access a pdf file for the procedure and application form. The cost is $440 (incl GST) however some aggregator discounts may apply.

·           CPD (Continuous Professional Development) sessions

Choose from half day / full day / two day – there are many finance industry focussed topics, or we can customise sessions to suit your organisation’s needs.  CPD workshops offer the ideal opportunity for groups looking to outsource their members’ training/CPD requirements, with no downtime for in-house staff involved in course creation or delivery.
